教授が１年目の医学生に最初の人体解剖の授業を教えている。
彼は始める前にいくつかの基本的なことを学生に教えることにする。

「人体解剖をするためには２つの事が出来なければならない。

第一は、恐怖を持ってはいけないと言うことだ。」
ここで教授は、死人の肛門に指を突っ込み、そして舐めた。

教授は学生に同じ事を目の前にある死体に行うように言った。
数分の沈黙の後、学生達は同じ事をする。

「第二は、鋭い観察力を持たなければいけないと言うことだ。
私は死人の肛門に中指を突っ込んだが、舐めたのは人差し指だ。」
